Clarity. Connection. Change.
Hi, I’m Trisha.
If things have been feeling harder than they used to—whether in your relationships or within yourself—you’re not alone.
Many of the people I work with are trying to hold everything together on the outside while internally feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, or unlike themselves.
I work with adults and couples navigating relationship stress, burnout, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and patterns that no longer feel sustainable.
You might find yourself thinking:
“I’m constantly overwhelmed.”
“I don’t feel like myself anymore.”
“We keep having the same arguments.”
“I feel alone, even when we’re together.”
“Something needs to change, but I don’t know where to start.”
For many women, transitions such as perimenopause can also impact mood, energy, identity, and emotional well-being in ways that feel confusing or discouraging.
My approach is relational and DBT-informed, meaning we focus both on understanding what’s happening beneath the surface and building practical tools to help you move forward.
In our work together, we may focus on:
Understanding emotions and recurring patterns
Strengthening communication and boundaries
Navigating relationship challenges with greater clarity
Managing stress, burnout, and emotional overwhelm
Reconnecting with yourself and what matters most to you
Building healthier, more sustainable routines
I also take a whole-person approach, recognizing how sleep, stress, movement, physical health, and faith can influence emotional well-being.
You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Therapy can be a place to slow down, feel understood, gain clarity, and begin approaching things differently—with greater confidence, connection, and self-awareness.
Many clients begin to feel:
Less overwhelmed
More confident expressing their needs
More connected in their relationships
More grounded in how they respond to stress
In addition to therapy services, I offer Interpersonal Effectiveness and Social Communication Skills Training for adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder who want to build confidence in relationships, strengthen communication skills, and feel more connected in their daily lives.
This structured, skills-based service focuses on practical skill development rather than traditional psychotherapy. Together, we work on areas such as initiating and maintaining conversations, understanding social cues, perspective-taking, managing conflict, self-advocacy, developing friendships, and navigating relationships at school, work, and in the community.
My goal is to provide a supportive environment where individuals can practice new skills, build confidence, and develop meaningful connections with others.
I have over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and couples across a range of personal, relationship, and family concerns. I am also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), with specialized experience working with individuals with disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. This background has given me a deep appreciation for the ways neurodiversity can shape identity, relationships, communication, emotional experiences, and daily life.
In addition to my private practice, I serve as faculty and Clinical Coordinator at Michigan State University, where I train and supervise future counselors.
I bring both research-informed knowledge and a relational, down-to-earth presence into the therapy space.
